Berntson Porter Corporate Advisory, LLC (“BPCA”), an M&A advisor serving middle market clients in the Pacific Northwest, today announced it acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the owners of Mosaic Salon + Spa, Inc. (“Mosaic”) in a sale to Salon Republic, a portfolio company of Riata Capital Group.
Mosaic, based in Seattle, WA, develops, leases and manages world-class boutique salon and spa suites to top beauty, health and wellness business owners. The Company leases suites from ten locations in the greater Seattle area, operating under two brands – Mosaic Salon + Spa and Ultimate Salon Studios.
Through our marketing process, Salon Republic emerged as the natural buyer. With PE-backing from Riata Capital, Salon Republic had grown organically in Southern California, expanded into Colorado and Texas, and added one location in Washington. The acquisition of Mosaic represented an opportunity for Salon Republic to secure a leading position in the Seattle market, and a platform for continued growth throughout the Northwest. We are excited for the continued growth of Mosaic under the Salon Republic umbrella.
Salon Republic, based in Woodland Hills, CA, is a leading operator of company-owned salon suites that provides individual salon studio venues and value-added services to beauty care professionals in seven large western markets clustered in California, Colorado, Texas, and Washington
Riata Capital Group is a leading Dallas-based private equity investment firm that partners with seasoned management teams to invest in growing, profitable, privately held companies with a focus on three industry sectors: consumer, business services, and healthcare services.
This is the first consumer services transaction that BPCA has closed in the Pacific Northwest. Other completed M&A transactions include companies in the manufacturing, industrial services, professional services, consumer products, construction, software, IT services, and distribution sectors.
