Bellevue, WA: BPCA Advises the Owners of School Data Solutions, Inc. on a Sale to Munetrix

Berntson Porter Corporate Advisory, LLC (“BPCA”), an M&A advisor serving middle market clients in the Pacific Northwest, today announced it acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the owners of School Data Solutions, Inc. (“School Data”), based in Spokane, WA, in a sale to Munetrix, based in Novi, MI, a portfolio company of Propel Equity.

Founded in 2012, School Data is a leading provider of education technology solutions to K-12 school districts, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. The company’s flagship product, Homeroom for Educators, allows administrators, educators, parents, and students access to the data sets they need to track progress, identify trends and take action for compliance and performance purposes. School Data also provides software applications for student career and higher-education planning, human resources, alternative learning, and communications.

Munetrix is a data-as-a-service platform that combines disparate District/School data with publicly available K-12 data to provide real-time, actionable insights on academic, operational, and fiscal performance to support improvements in student achievement and district outcomes.

Propel Equity is a people-oriented investment firm that partners with owners and management teams of lower-middle market companies to create and execute transformational growth strategies.  

This is the second lower-middle market SaaS transaction that BPCA has closed in the Pacific Northwest. Other completed M&A transactions include companies in the manufacturing, industrial services, professional services, consumer products, construction, technology, and distribution sectors.
