Bellevue, WA: Berntson Porter Corporate Advisory Advises the Owners of Brooks Applied Labs on a Sale to IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group.
Berntson Porter Corporate Advisory, LLC (“BPCA”), an M&A advisor serving middle market clients in the Pacific Northwest, today announced it acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the owners of Brooks Applied Labs, Inc. (“Brooks Applied”), based on Bothell, WA, in a sale to IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group (“IEH”), also based in Bothell, WA.
Brooks Applied, formed through the 2015 merger of Brooks Rand Labs and Applied Speciation & Consulting, is a premier specialty analytical chemistry laboratory, focused on the analysis and speciation of trace metals in environmental (water, biota, soil, sediment, air), pharmaceutical, food & beverage, biomonitoring, and industrial samples. Brooks Applied applies its expertise across a very broad range of industries representing diverse market sectors in a global client base, including mining, power, food, and pharmaceuticals.
IEH operates over 100 laboratories across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Germany, England, Austria, Australia, China, and the Netherlands, and partners with food companies to implement proactive approaches to manage food safety risks. IEH provides routine analytical support to the food industry through consultation, testing services, and regulatory support, and specializes in risk management, and implementing programs proven to ensure strong food safety and quality standards, to prevent people from getting sick.
